In school we finished our math unit on fractions last Thursday with a test. I wasn't there to take the test but I did it a few days ago but my teacher still has to mark it so I wasn't able to have a picture of it. But I have included a picture of a "wall of fractions" to show you what fractions are if you didn't know or if you had just forgotten. In the fractions unit we were working on adding and subtracting fractions, turning mixed numbers into improper fractions, turning improper fractions into mixed numbers and things like that. I remember while learning how to turn mixed numbers into improper fractions, my math teacher taught us the "badoop" method where he drew a V and said "the way to turn a mixed number into a improper fraction is to multiply the whole numbers with the denominator then add the numerator and you'll get the improper fraction. The way to remember it is badoop, badoop, badoop." It was one of those moments in math where you're allowed to laugh at the teacher's silly antics.
